Havin Turkish Restaurant Review
Just wanted to share my experience of Havin Turkish restaurant on the High Street. 🍽️
I went there with a couple of friends (Caz and Kerry) last night after doing some pottery painting at Pots of Art which I highly recommend. You get two hours and you can choose something they have to paint which I think starts from about £7 for smaller items up to about £38 for a large plate. I opted to paint a bowl this time for £18. Caz did a dinosaur £10 🦖and Kerry a mug £18
In Havin we started off with a Babagnoush which was delicious and the homemade bread was soft and fluffy.
For main I had a Chicken Shish and I swapped the rice for chips 🍟It was absolutely huge, very tasty and you could tell it was cooked over charcoal 🔥Caz had a Chicken Guvec which came sizzling in the pan and smelt divine and also tasted amazing, big portion too. Kerry who's a veggie 🥦had grilled Halloumi with vegetables, which was also huge and apparently very good too.
We all said the flavours were brilliant and would certainly return but would try their lunch deal next time.
The restaurant was packed so I'd recommend booking.
The only downside being it was very noisy in there but there were a couple of big tables celebrating. 🍾
Anyway it's most certainly worth a try.
